SUSAN E. BRIGGS received her undergraduate degree in English from UC Santa Cruz and her M.A. in English with a creative writing emphasis from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. Her stories have appeared in WestWord and Silent Voices, and she has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. Originally from the East Coast, Susan has lived in California most of her life and currently lives in Los Angeles. I Can See Heaven is her first novel.
